Chuck Boster and Bill Jaeger founded Suburban Steel Supply in 1979 in Summit Station, Ohio, with the goal of pioneering and developing the use of structural steel in residential construction. Although residential builders occasionally used steel, they found the product difficult to procure and use in the field. Boster and Jaeger focused on changing this perception by positioning Suburban Steel Supply as the ultimate service company.
 
Today, Suburban Steel Supply proudly serves the central Ohio, Indianapolis, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Louisville markets with the same dedication to customer service that has defined our success since 1979.
